My Background and Approach
I am a Masters trained Social Worker with 25 years of experience holding open, non-judgmental space for you to feel supported. I will listen, encourage, teach and empower you to see life as hopeful and find lasting peace, love and joy in an authentic life. I received my Bachelors of Social Work in 1996 and my Master of Social Work in 2006. I have worked for the past 18 years in the medical setting working as a hospital social worker and am eager to bring my expertise to the counseling relationship with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that holistic healing happens in relationships. Relationships shape how we thing, feel and believe. Counseling provides the space and focus to explore our past and present relationships and develop tools, techniques and strategies to grow and find joy. We will spend time understanding current issues, exploring past stories and developing a road map for future success.
