My Background and Approach
I use the basic tenants of mindfulness to begin the process of acceptance and awareness of your thoughts. When you begin the process of understanding that you have the power to choose what thoughts are beneficial to you, and which thoughts are just the” inner critic chatter”, you are on the road to freedom. The freedom comes from knowing with clarity that when you respond to a thought it is because the thought has a benefit to you, the outcome is something that will have a positive impact in your life. The days of endlessly second guessing yourself will slowly diminish, the inner critic will no longer rule, you will! Your decisions will be made with clarity and will decide how you want to show up in this world. Shame, self-loathing, and seconding guessing yourself will be replaced with the profound understanding of the power you possesses in choosing to live your life on your terms.

As a marriage and family therapist, I combine my theoretical knowledge with my life experience, to help clients find their path to living their best lives NOW! I believe you are the expert in your life and what I provide is objective guidance for you to uncover your strengths and gifts, providing you with a “toolbox” of options. My greatest joy is to see you unlock yourself from living in the past or the future, and instead choose to embrace the present and live in the moment! I wholeheartedly believe that self-love, awareness, acceptance, non-judgement and forgiveness are keys to living an authentic and joyful life!
