About My Clients
My non-judgmental, warm, and supportive approach to my clients has resulted in strong relationships with the people I work with. I appreciate people who have taken the road less traveled, or who approach life from a nontraditional perspective. I work hard to help my clients become who they want to be. People who are questioning and curious, artistic, spiritual, or just plain out-of-the box will feel at home with me.
My Background and Approach
Sometimes we wish we could change our story because it is no longer working for us. My goal is to help you look at your story, understand it, and discover new ways to tell it. Sometimes just talking with someone new can make something clear in a way that hadn’t occurred to you and it turns out to be just what you needed to hear. In my practice I pull from a variety of psychological and philosophical perspectives and approaches to meet the needs of each individual client. I have 16 years of experience as an LMFT in private practice.I have specializations in family systems, and narrative psychotherapy and have trained as a mediator. I completed a certificate in Integrative Medicine and Mental Health last year. I am flexible and grounded and won't sit in silence unless necessary.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Each day I become a little bit more certain about how little we know about the universe. I am challenged and delighted by scientific discoveries and the nature of reality. I work to be grounded and compassionate every day. I believe that personal work is the key to living a fuller life.
