About My Clients
You find yourself feeling overwhelmed, anxious and drained often. You catch yourself taking on too much, but you enjoy helping others, and may feel guilty saying no. You would like to feel more calm and are interested in learning new ways to gain peace. You may also want to deepen your relationships, increase confidence and take better care of yourself. I often support women who have been called too sensitive, who are deep thinkers and have a lot of empathy for others.
My Approach to Helping
Research shows that the greatest indicator of a positive outcome in therapy is based on the relationship between the client and therapist. Finding the right fit is important. In therapy, my style is warm, supportive, gentle, and non-judgmental. Together we will work to identify what is and is not working for you in life, and I will provide you with a variety of new coping skills and tools in moving forward. Each client is unique and so therapy does look different, based on what you bring and what you hope to achieve. I draw from multiple therapeutic techniques, depending on your goals and what you find most helpful and supportive. I specialize in working with Highly Sensitive Women in my practice. HSPs process deeply, can become overwhelmed/overstimulated easily, have a lot of empathy and are often very moved emotionally, and are quite aware of the many little details all around them.
