If you are looking for a thoughtful, compassionate, and direct therapist- let's talk. I value building relations over time where the depth of connection unfolds as more safety and trust grows. We can explore together the burdens you carry while we imagine a life you want. I adjust my style depending on your needs. I can laugh with you and I can curse with you. And I can provide you with a lot of space to contemplate your struggles, discoveries, and hopes. I do not offer quick and easy answers because I believe that if that was the case, you would have figured it out on your own. But I do believe in your own inherent wisdom. My job is to listen for it and to help you find it.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Asking for help can be so hard. Coming into a stranger's office and sharing your fears and vulnerabilities can feel so strange. And knowing how to decide which person to begin that process with can be so overwhelming. I usually recommend that people meet with a couple of therapists before making a final decision. And then I recommend that you pay attention to how you feel during your session. Do you feel heard? Do you feel like this person is trying to understand you? Do you feel like you can ask questions about how you will work together? Can you imagine coming back again? You deserve someone thoughtful, empathic, and curious about you.
