A lot of people with anxiety feel hopeless and depressed. My clients are usually very happy to find out that anxiety is VERY TREATABlE and relieved that they don't have to go it alone anymore. My Background and Approach
I am a Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional who understands the neurological component of anxiety as well as the emotional side. I am also trained in CBT and DBT. which are evidence-based techniques that help clients control their anxious thoughts and beliefs and help them begin moving towards a life worth living.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
People with Anxiety can be very good at beating themselves up. They often feel isolated and weird. The truth is that Anxiety is THE MOST COMMON MENTAL HEALTH ISSUE and there are so many ways therapy can help. I want my clients to know that I understand and do not judge anyone for being anxious. My goal is for my clients to experience freedom from the control they feel that anxiety has over them. I have helped many, many clients approach this goal. I don't discriminate against anyone. I make it a point to participate in marches and community actions that support the LGBTQ+ community and Black Lives Matter.
