About My Clients
Spanish/English. You may be an adult child who is evaluating how family dynamics have shaped you; or you are in a relationship and the family dynamics of each individual lead to complex conversations about each other's values, fears, and dreams; or you are a parent and the responsibility that comes with running a family is making you evaluate the things you learned from your family to figure what is true to you and what you want to shift. You need a safe space to process your experiences.
My Background and Approach
I hold an M.A. in Psychology: Prevention and Treatment from the University of Washington. I find joy in helping you see all you are already doing that is authentic to you by offering insight that results in more harmony and balance internally. This balance will reflect in your relationship with yourself and others. I operate from a strengths-based lens by holding space both for what is causing you pain as well as your internal strength. When we build up from what is already working for you, you can experience more ease and less distress, ultimately creating more harmony in your life. My work involves learning how to listen to the body carefully to better understand the signals it sends us about what we need to feel safe and well.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My work’s foundation is based on the understanding that people are doing the best they can with the tools and the capacity that is within them. I find joy in helping my clients see all they are already doing that is authentic to them by offering insight that results in more harmony and balance internally. The goal being that this balance reflects in their relationship with themselves and others. I work with individuals, couples, and families providing culturally sensitive, and trauma informed care. The lens through which I provide services is neurodiversity and LGBTQ affirming.
