About My Clients
In my work with clients we practice cultivating more self-awareness, self-reflection, and self-compassion. In sessions, we hold space for spontaneous insights and self-growth. Together, we approach mental health as a process and journey that unfolds over time - We are all worthy and deserving of a therapeutic container so we can live our lives with more authenticity and joy.
My Background and Approach
From a clinical standpoint, I specialize in working with folks experiencing life transitions, grief & loss, anxiety, depression, and supporting clients who desire a greater sense of overall well-being and ease in their lives. I love working with teens, adults, and the queer community. I love to work with gender-expansive and trans youth and their families. My clinical approach is enriched and informed by 10+ years of teaching yoga and meditation in private practice. I bring humility, curiosity, reverence and a sense of humor to this work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all humans are worthy of dignity and deserve to be treated with respect, and that life is a gift- although sometimes life doesn't feel like a gift it just sucks!! I also believe that because life can be so hard it is crucial for us all to feel seen, heard, and supported on our journeys- and that a therapist's job is to do no harm. I value racial and social equity and actively sit with and confront my white privilege and access. All of us have the right to be our best and most authentic weirdo selves!!
