About My Clients

Your inner critic can make you view yourself through a cruel funhouse mirror, where all you can see are the parts of you that you don’t like. Maybe you've had experiences in the past - in relationships, your family, school, or in our culture - that left you feeling unworthy, anxious, broken, or alone, and you can’t seem to shake those feelings no matter how hard you try. You may struggle with trusting your own feelings, intuition, or memory, and long for more confidence and self-trust.

My Background and Approach

I help sensitive, neurodivergent adults see themselves with more clarity, compassion, and self-trust, so that they can leave overwhelm, shame, anxiety, and constant self-doubt behind. I offer a trauma-sensitive, inclusive place where you can be deeply listened to, understood, and accepted as your full, complex self. My style is warm, strengths-based, engaged, & relational. My clients are people who want to go deep (even if they’re also afraid to!). I use Internal Family Systems (Level 2 trained), EMDR, Brainspotting, attachment theory, and somatic approaches in my work. I value your own wisdom and life experiences, welcome your feedback, and am invested in social movements for collective liberation. If this sounds like a fit, let's connect!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

In many ways, the common thread in my professional life has been the work of healing and liberation. Prior to becoming a therapist, my primary focus was on outer healing and liberation - for institutions, organizations, and society. I worked in social justice organizing and advocacy for several years, including environmental, farming, and racial justice movements, as well as advocacy for and with survivors of sexual violence, intimate partner violence, and human trafficking. After learning many lessons, including some painful ones about humility and burnout, I decided to focus my professional work on inner healing and liberation. This decision, combined with my own transformative experiences in therapy, led me to graduate school to become a therapist. I continue my own personal healing, growth work, and learning, in therapy and beyond.
