About My Clients

Life transitions can kick up many emotions and bring up feelings of anxiety, stress, or depression. You may be feeling disconnected from yourself and your loved ones, unsure of your true identity, or dissatisfied with your life. Many adults just starting out may find themselves questioning their purpose in life and re-examining what they want and who they are. I strive to walk with my clients as we deepen their understanding of their inner world and the world around them.

My Background and Approach

As a queer affirming and culturally sensitive therapist, my objective is to reduce feelings of isolation and otherness.I provide a safe space for clients to voice their needs, examine how they relate to themselves and others, and to learn adaptive coping skills. I use an attachment-informed eclectic approach that includes cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and tools from somatic experiencing therapy to help clients feel more connected to themselves.
