About My Clients
You've got history. You've done some therapy before. You understand cognitively what and why, but now you're ready to dive deep and make the lasting changes in your life so that you get out of your way and break through. This is about discovering who you want to be in the future while healing the past, resolving regrets, and holding yourself accountable. It's a promise that your future you will thank you for. The more you put into it now, the better your outcomes will be.
My Background and Approach
I use art making and dream pattern analysis as a way to help you resolve old issues and help you gain insight into the missing pieces needed to change pervasive behavior patterns. I have experience with grief, traumatic grief, and complicated grief. After a loss, whether it be a loved one, relationship, career, or circumstance, there's a period of doubt, confusion, and often regret or anger. Grief is messy. I'll help you reevaluate yourself and your life to help you realign in a way that will empower you to figure out who you are now and, in time, help you look toward a brighter future. Depth work is slow and requires consistency. The results will be lasting healing and a new way you see and interact in your relationships and in the world around you. I am a board certified art therapist. I have a master's level certification in dream pattern analysis. I also hold a certificate in maternal mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that there is mystery and hope in the world if we learn to look for it. I consider my personal art making a conversation with my soul. I also believe that creativity is a metric of health. I don't enjoy labels for myself. I use they/them pronouns. I identify as non-binary and am feminine presenting. I am fluent in the culture and language of the LGBTQia+, kink, and poly communities as well as pagan subcultures. It's all about consent and honesty. I work hard to push against homophobia, ignorance, and disrespect. I'm a nerd, a deep thinker, and innately honest. I work hard at being vulnerable and authentic which I believe is the core to building trust. Most of all I work really hard to be authentic with my personal life with practicing healthy boundaries and radical self-care. You can't pour from an empty cup.
