About My Clients
Are you an overachiever finding yourself struggling to keep it all together? Are you usually pretty good at "faking it 'til you make it" but notice that strategy is not really working for you anymore? Do you find your anxiety or depression increasing, your identity feeling shaky, and relationship issues seem to keep popping up? You are not alone in these struggles, and you do not have to pretend anymore. Together, we will work to bring peace, joy and fulfillment back into your life again.
My Background and Approach
I firmly believe that therapy is not easy, but that it should always feel safe. Before change can occur, I believe you must first feel truly heard and seen. I believe that our relationship serves as the foundation for the rest of our work. In the safety of this relationship, we will seek to understand and explore the challenges of the past, as well as prepare for those of the future. I will teach you evidence-based strategies that equip you to thrive in your relationship with others and yourself. We will work towards increased self-compassion and self-worth, breaking free from the chains of perfectionism and feeling like you are never enough. My therapeutic process is collaborative, and while I am not afraid to challenge you, we will always move at a pace that feels appropriate to you. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that many struggles with mental health are birthed out of disconnection, and that genuine connection is healing to our brain and our soul. I have spent years in my own therapy, which allows me to connect more deeply with my clients. I prioritize creating an inclusive therapeutic space, and spend time outside of work advocating for, listening to and learning from people that look and live differently than me.
