My Background and Approach
Hi there! Welcome! I’d love to introduce myself. My name is Mallory Lamm. I received my Bachelors of Science with a social work major in 2017 from Union University. The following year in 2018, I achieved my Master of Social Work from Samford University. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in the state of Alabama. I worked in higher education as mental health provider for 2 years before transitioning to the inpatient setting for eating disorders. My areas of specialty include treating anxiety, depression, personality disorders and eating disorders. My approach is solution focused and collaborative. I utilize CBT and motivational interviewing. I enjoy exploring the relationship between the mind and body to find inner healing from trauma through taping into our inner child and somatic experiencing techniques.
