My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is informed by evidence-based best practices and the latest research in the field of psychology. In my work, depending upon the client’s needs, I synthesize learnings from developmental and attachment-based perspectives, emotion-focused approach, acceptance and commitment therapy, cognitive-behavior theory, and mindfulness-based practices. My practice philosophy is to form a partnership with my client(s) and offer a safe, non- judgmental, and relational environment that can help them gain a deeper awareness of their inner conflicts. I help my client(s) develop critical thinking skills and cognitive strategies to resolve their life challenges and create a fulfilling life for themselves. I adopt a non-pathologizing approach and believe every client has a unique potential for overcoming difficulties and maximizing their well-being. As your mental health companion, I will support you in exploring your unique set of strengths, values, and resilience potential.
