About My Clients
I work with adult individuals, couples of all genders/sexual orientations and small groups who would like to better understand and minimize symptoms related to depression, anxiety, relationships and substance addiction, from both an abstinence and a harm reduction model. Two specialty areas of mine include navigating through the loss of a loved one following a completed suicide and the lived-experiences of chronic mental illness as found in bi-polar disorder and schizophrenia.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is highly influenced by the work of Carl Rogers, a California psychologist who developed person-centered psychotherapy. Rogers’ believed every human being strives for and has the capacity to fulfill his or her own potential.
