About My Clients

I have developed specialty interests in treating stress and anxiety issues in adults, adolescents and children. Whether someone is experiencing distress due to anxious thoughts and worries, emotional pain, or life changes, I can help. As a parent myself, I appreciate providing specialized support in the areas of stress, parenting, perfectionism, and other post-partum difficulties such as depression.

My Background and Approach

I use evidence-based treatment methods that have been shown by research to be most effective for specific concerns. I view therapy as a process of growth and self-discovery and enjoy collaborating with clients in living conscious and meaningful lives. In my free time I have co-hosted on the KABC Radio Show, “On the Couch” and currently volunteer my time with Mindful Youth Collaborative, a mindfulness-based education organization.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that psychological discomfort is a form of communication from our psyche, which is usually trying to tell us something important. I also believe that life is inherently challenging and that what makes life meaningful is navigating and learning from these difficulties in a holistic way.
