My Background and Approach
I am a clinical psychologist who works with adolescents, adults, couples and families. I love helping patients understand themselves in deep and meaningful ways as we work to heal the troubles that brought them into therapy. In addition to treating depression, anxiety, attachment issues, and trauma, I specialize in treating eating disorders and maternal mental health. I have extensive training in the treatment of eating disorders - I completed my dissertation research on the role of fathers in the development of eating disorder and I have also worked at the RTC, PHP, IOP and Outpatient levels of eating disorder care for over 10 years, most notably at the Monte Nido Treatment Center. I completed four years of psychoanalytic psychotherapy training at Wright Institute Los Angeles and the New Center for Psychoanalysis. I also hold a Certificate in Perinatal Mood and Anxiety Disorders from Postpartum Support International.
