About My Clients
My clients are youth of all ages, adults, and couples/relationships. My therapeutic process is collaborative and curious. I weave together somatic and mindfulness practices rooted in Indigenous and Buddhist traditions, to guide you in reconnecting with your deepest truths while navigating life’s changes. Humor is a vital part of both my life and practice, infusing warmth and ease into our work.
My Background and Approach
Building on my prior work in disordered eating recovery, I understand the challenges of feeling at home in your body for various reasons. I believe that health is a dynamic spectrum, unique to each of us and shaped by various factors over time. It’s not merely an endpoint but a resource accessible to everyone, irrespective of health conditions or abilities. My practice is Health at Every Size and Intuitive Eating informed. I offer EMDR trauma treatment, and work with relationships using the attachment-based framework of Emotionally Focused Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Latine, bilingual, queer woman and psychotherapist based in Los Angeles, I draw from my roots in the borderlands of the Sonoran Desert. I believe people in all bodies deserve healing, and that it is most powerful when it centers our cultural experiences.
