About My Clients
Are you feeling like everyone else has it together and you seem to be the only one struggling? Or feeling like at times you are emotionally hanging on by a thread? Feeling anxious, depressed, burned out or overwhelmed? Many of my clients come in because they feel like they are crumbling under the pressure of modern day life. I work with people to change their perspectives and understand the challenges that are holding them back.
My Background and Approach
You should never feel judged for or ashamed of the concerns that bring you in to therapy. I practice from a place of acceptance and create space for my clients to feel safe opening up and diving in. My work as a therapist is to provide you with the tools you need to move forward with your life and create more emotional bandwidth to tackle everything ahead of you. For over 10 years I have been working with clients suffering from anxiety, depression and relationship issues. I have attended many additional trainings on body image concerns, postpartum depression and anxiety and infidelity. By starting therapy you are beginning the work of understanding and prioritizing your mental and emotional health and I am happy to go on the journey with you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in love, acceptance and kindness. I am a big advocate of diversity and inclusion in therapy and in all areas of life. I support the LGBTQ community and am a very loud and proud ally!! I believe that black lives matter! I want my work to reflect my support of all minority and marginalized people. I believe strongly in supporting woman and wish to create a better world for my own daughter to walk through.
