About My Clients

I work with a diversity of adult clients. I work in individual and group counseling. I can work with couples but only after I work with them each individually so that I know what each expects. I keep all individual sessions individual. So if a couple has seen me individually, I do not discuss it in the couple's session unless the client gives consent. I deal with every topic. I am not shy and speak my mind but only my client has the power to see whether it is a good idea or not.

My Background and Approach

I am a licensed Professional Counselor in and around Savannah Georgia. I am nationally certified and also nationally certified in clinical mental health counseling. I work with a specialty and am certified in Georgia to work with this sub group. Sex Offenders. This gives me insight into an offender's mindset. I already have experience working with victims of sexual, physical, and psychological assault. I have other telemental health work that I do also that includes these persons. I work with the individual mindset and am integrated in my approach. No two people are the same and I use a unique set of therapies that include, CBT, Rational emotive, Reality, and solution based. Integrated therapy means that I incorporate evidence based therapy

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My personal beliefs are based on the fundamentals of rights. We are all human. We should have freedoms but be responsible not to tread on the rights of others. If someone has been victimized, to me that means someone violated their rights. When I talk about rights, I am talking about freedom to choose who you want to love, who you want to be, what will make you content. At the same time, if this involves other's rights, they have to be adults and have to be able to consent. So that another's rights are not tramples on. Fundamental rights are freedom but also responsibility. I will give an example. A person loves to drink and do drugs. Now if they are alone, and in a safe environment then theirs rights to put whatever into their body is not my business. The minute that same person decides it is time to get into a car and drive, or fight with someone or do something to harm another, that person has now crossed another's rights
