About My Clients
We are all living through uncertain times. The stress and anxiety of a global pandemic, the difficult political climate, and the ever present social issues have you on edge and you don’t know how to manage this new normal. You have so many questions and seemingly no answers. Will this ever end? How do I handle these negative emotions? How do I deal with my family during this time? Will we ever get back to normal? I look forward to helping you process through the answers to these questions.
My Background and Approach
I don't believe that there is a "one size fits all" approach to therapy. I use an eclectic approach to help you reach your goals, whatever they may be. Over the first few sessions, we will get to know each other and set goals for our time together. We will then work together to process through current issues as well as issues that keep coming up from the past. I have a wealth of training that helps me to help you. I will offer you many tools and skills to help you manage difficulties you are having. By the end of our time together, you will be able to confidently go about your day without worrying about how you will get through the day.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that we are all uniquely created people. We all have a purpose and meaning for being alive. Sometimes we get off track and need objective outside outside assistance to get back on track. I believe that we all deserve to be treated equally and have a chance to be heard. In my years of experience, I have worked with almost every population imaginable and there is nothing that someone could say that would shock me. I believe in working with my clients to meet them where they are at and help them get to where they want to be, wherever that may be. I love spending time with my family, doing pretty much anything outdoors, and watching almost any sport.
