About My Clients
I have experience working in community mental health, outpatient, private practice, couples counseling and life skills coaching. I have experience working with children, teens, and adults using emotionally focused therapy, family systems, and cognitive behavioral therapies.
My Background and Approach
I received my Master's Degree in Counseling with a marriage and family therapy focus at California State University Northridge (CSUN). I approach therapy from a collaborative perspective, focusing on ways to work together to give the client the tools and coping skills needed when dealing with life's challenges. I focus on emotion identification and interpretation, assisting clients in connecting their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. I come from a strength based perspective, assessing for how strengths can be used to improve various aspects of the client's life.
