If you, or perhaps your child, has been accused of a sexual offense, you’re probably sweating bullets right now. You’re thinking “life is over” or wondering how in the world you are going to get through this. Working with adolescents and adults, I provide non-judgmental risk assessments, treatment, and support. With the belief that one’s worst deeds do not define them; I hope to give everyone the chance to overcome and rise to their full potential.

I started my education and career with intentions of addressing the impacts of traumatic experiences. I am nationally certified in TF-CBT for youth and use similar approaches in working with adults overcoming trauma. Counseling is tailored to the individual, but common methods include mindfulness, becoming attuned with the body, exposure to memories within a safe place, and and evaluation of how one’s thoughts affect their feelings.

After graduate school, I was thrown into the world of parent education and family counseling. As a parent myself of two strong-willed boys, I realize that there is no one size fits all solution. I enjoy helping families be their own experts; working together to find what works best for them.
