About My Clients

My clients come from all walks of life. What unifies who I work with is their desire for something to feel different. We all face challenges in life and it's what we do with these challenges and emotions that makes all the difference. Sharing, expressing feelings, and problem solving together through creative processes are what help people feel connected and in charge of their life journey. My clients and I form a team with a common goal to help lift burdens and allow space for growth and joy.

My Background and Approach

My life's passion is working with children, young adults, and parents on their unique journey. I specialize in assisting with life transitions, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, identity formation, and more. I offer 1:1 individual virtual counseling in addition to walk and talk counseling. Like to be cozy at home? Try virtual! Like to move and get fresh air? Let's walk! I have worked with kids, teens, and young adults in a variety of settings for the past 15 years. With 10 years of experience as a school counselor and work in group private practice, I have had a wide variety of experiences to learn and grow from. My work is person-centered, strengths-based, and I incorporate CBT, DBT, psychoeducation, and holistic support modalities to guide youth through life's turbulent waters.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone has the right to feel joy, connection, belonging, and a strong sense of self. Adolescence and young adulthood are huge times of change and transition. Common benchmarks for success can feel daunting or leave us in a comparison mindset. My hope is to allow people to begin to understand what is at the root of their own wants and needs and help guide them towards actions to bring a greater sense of peace. I am passionate about helping reduce barriers for people to reach their highest happiness and potential. Oftentimes people in marginalized communities face an unfair set of challenges that can bring additional heartache and disconnection. I have a background in social justice advocacy and do my best to ensure therapy is a no-judgment zone for anyone who walks through the door. My volunteer experience has mostly been working with LGBTQ+ youth and I feel strongly about supporting people from the LGBTQ+ community.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
