Depression is often the result of a rift between what we hoped for or expected and what we are experiencing. It often comes due to a change in life circumstances. Understanding what we have control over and what we do not can often allow acceptance or the ability to move forward toward change.

Anxiety is often centered in excessive worry or the tendency to dwell on negative events. It can become a vicious cycle. Identifying to source and becoming mindful of the reality of the situation can be helpful.

Life "happens" and it is our ability to ride with it that provides comfort in the journey. Many events will change how we perceive ourselves. Returning to our values for comfort is the beginning to the transition to change.
