About My Clients

Do you struggle with perfectionism or performance anxiety? Do you have challenges with expressing yourself fully on stage? Do you lack confidence in your talent, abilities, or authentic self? Do you hold yourself back from opportunities for fear of visibility or rejection? I specialize in treating trauma that blocks creative self-expression. I help you alleviate anxiety and perfectionism, clarify career goals, and access more confidence and calm in your professional life.

My Background and Approach

My techniques address the mind-body-voice connection in performers. I integrate mindfulness meditation, guided visualization, music and drama therapy techniques to tap into your voice, body, emotions, and creative potential. I also address subconscious blocks to self-expression and success using evidence-based IFS therapy. I integrate playfulness and humor, spiritual principles, and creativity coaching techniques. My background is as a vocal coach, and I am a trained creative arts therapist with a master's degree in Music Therapy and training in psychodrama and somatic release through movement. I wrote my master's thesis on helping singer-songwriters overcome trauma (past abusive collaborators/educators) impacting their creative self-expression. My Personal Beliefs and Interests

It takes courage to be vulnerable and approach change. I strive to be empathetic and warm, while also providing clear and direct feedback with practical techniques. I believe that therapy should be fun as well as healing, like the performing arts. I believe that we are all born with an inner voice that guides us to our purpose, and my passion is helping you discover and listen to yours. I believe that creativity, courage, and calm are innately accessible; we just need the right keys to unlock our gifts. I treat my clients as equals in the relationship. My role is to provide tools you might benefit from, and a safe and inspired space for experimentation, play, and growth. I actively work on dismantling biases, and educating myself about the unique challenges that marginalized communities face, to provide a safer space for clients to process their experiences. If this perspective resonates with you, please reach out. I'd be honored to have a free 15 minute consultation.
