I specialize in women's issues, mood disorders, personality disorders, and grief & loss. I will provide you with emotional support and coping skills. We all have the strength within us to move toward a healthier, happier, and more fulfilled life, but we need the tools to get there. My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in individual, couples, and group therapy in the fields of postpartum mood and anxiety disorders, trauma, grief & loss, and infertility. I maintain a private practice in Aliso Viejo, CA. I have completed the PSI and 2020 Mom Professional Maternal Mental Health Certificate Training. I am the Director and Clinical Supervisor of a non-profit mental health program for transitional aged youths (18-25 years) in Orange County. Additionally, I have served as clinical director and a primary therapist for various treatment programs in Southern California specializing in addiction, eating disorders, and mental illness. I am skilled at providing support for grief and loss, relationship, and trauma related issues.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I'm am working towards certification in EMDR and Perinatal Mental Health. These 2 certifications are helping me better assist my clients affected by trauma and maternal related challenges. I am licensed in the state of California through the Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS), LMFT #53296. I am a member of the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists (CAMFT: #105296) and BBS certified clinical supervisor. I am a professional member of Postpartum Support International (PSI: #40061). On the more socially minded side of life: I study Reiki/energy work and Tarot. I believe that this planet is a gift and we are here to serve our soul purposes. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I support any and all causes related to my community. Additionally I whole-heartedly KNOW that Black Lives Matter snd I march for what I believe in. If we ever meet for in-person therapy, you just might meet my Siberian Husky, Arya Blue. We rescued each other.
