While typically one of the best treatments for Borderline Personality Disorder, its focus on mindfulness, interpersonal effectiveness, distress tolerance, and emotion regulation skills are applicable for all of us. I use the full protocol as well as an adapted and DBT informed approach usually to improve emotion regulation and tolerance of distress.
I am EMDR trained and focus on using EMDR for management of trauma, grief/loss, and anxiety. I am conducting remote EMDR and find that it's approach helps with processing events that are too difficult to describe in words or that carry a large amount of shame.
I am trained in several trauma treatments and work with individuals experiencing sexual trauma, relationship trauma, trauma from combat and work related trauma, racial trauma, and trauma from natural disasters. My specializations are in EMDR, Cognitive Processing Therapy, and Prolonged Exposure.

I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Behavioral Analysis System of Psychotherapy (CBASP), Psychodynamic Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Interpersonal Therapy, and Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT) for treatment of depression. As someone who has experienced and overcome my own depressive episodes, my approach focuses on helping you identify what makes life meaningful and ways to reconnect you to that.
My graduate training was heavily focused in CBT for many issues (anxiety, depression, trauma, insomnia, and chronic pain). I have continued to expand my training in CBT, but have branched out to other modalities as CBT is not always the best approach for everyone.
