About My Clients
Do you want a big life, but just can't quite seem to get there? Do you feel like you're living Groundhog Day in your relationships? Does the path forward feel like driving into a night fog? As a recovering perfectionist myself, I am well acquainted with my inner critic. I seek to walk together with my clients through the process of unlearning our negative self-talk to find new perspectives and more abundance.
My Background and Approach
To find this new abundance I use a three-pronged approach: 1. Build an authentic and deep relationship to explore your goals. 2. Identify the roots of the problem using family therapy tools to address patterns and empower your future choices. 3. Use practical CBT and DBT skills for present relief. I'm also learning more about creative ways to access our right brain and connect to our emotions and inner motives more quickly, including Sand Tray Therapy and body awareness excercises.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the innate value of all humans beings and actively look to reveal and unlearn my biases and prejudices. I provide affirming care of all kinds, including LGBTQ+, neurodiversity, and body positivity. I believe in the pure love of animals (I'm biased towards dogs) as a form of attachment healing. I also believe that often the answer to happiness is to do less, not more.
