About My Clients
Are you feeling overwhelmed, down, or just not like yourself? Have the demands of parenting, work, or life in general taken over? You're not alone, and I honor your courage to reach out for support. I enjoy working with issues of anxiety, depression, sexual trauma, relationship concerns, infertility, loss and grief, pregnancy, postpartum conditions, parenting, and the stressors of life.
My Background and Approach
My theoretical orientation for therapy is person-centered, therefore I believe in the capacity for growth and healing within individuals. Sometimes, extra support may be needed to facilitate that growth and healing.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I aspire to create a safe, accepting, and welcoming environment for my clients. My approach to counseling is grounded in the belief that people strive to discover and be their true selves, which can be achieved through a therapeutic relationship based on non-judgement, empathy, and genuineness. My role as a counselor is to provide guidance, support, boundaries, and resources in order to help clients work towards their desired goals for counseling.
