About My Clients
I specialize in working with those that are struggling with past traumatic memories that are impacting their day to day functioning, relationship satisfaction, or self-esteem. I work to assist clients with feeling "good enough", and better able to set boundaries and find relationship satisfaction. In addition, I assist people who have struggled with grief to move through this process with support and non-judgement.
My Background and Approach
As a therapist, I incorporate various treatment approaches, tailored to each individual client. I work to develop a safe and genuine rapport, while utilizing techniques such as: EMDR (for trauma/PTSD), CBT, DBT, strengths finding approaches, increasing self-compassion and non-judgement, and working to help clients understand, manage, and express emotions. I also help clients develop ways to manage the anxiety in their lives, and find freedom from the strongholds that have impacted their life. A Christian approach can be utilized, if desired.
