About My Clients
I work with a wide range of client's wanting to focus on anxiety, ways of coping, depression, life and work stress, trauma, PTSD, self-exploration and growth, relationship challenges, women empowerment, body image concerns, and eating disorders/disordered eating. My goal is to provide trauma-informed, social justice-oriented and culturally aware therapy and a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and heard.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Masters in Mental Health Counseling and my studies focused on the treatment of eating disorders and anxiety. During my academic internships I gained experience in an outpatient eating disorder practice and an inpatient treatment center. I greatly appreciated the opportunity to work in different levels of care as it is helpful for determining what level of care fits client's needs. I work primarily from an emotion focused and narrative therapy lens but will pull from other theories to fit client’s needs and goals. My goal is to provide trauma informed, social justice oriented and culturally aware therapy and a space where you can feel comfortable, safe, and heard.
