About My Clients
Are you struggling with navigating a relationship in your life? Relational therapy, typically called couples but can include a variety of relationship types, focuses in on communication, trust, repair, and joy. Typical sessions include allowing space for identifying specific sources of discomfort and practice for how to make and sustain relational shifts.
My Background and Approach
Therapy together is focused on creating space to analyze and gain insight to oneself, validate the experiences while also identifying areas of difficulty and giving practical ways to address life’s challenges. Those in the relationship work together to disarm conflict, increase intimacy and respect, remove barriers that create a feeling of stagnancy; and create a sense of empathy and understanding within the context of the relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am passionate about helping people reflect inward to develop a personalized plan forward. I welcome you arriving as your authentic self and enjoy implementing humor and laughter in our sessions together. The parts of me that show up outside of work are not entirely separate of the parts of me that show up in my work as a therapist. I am a heterosexual, cisgendered female and use she/her pronouns. I feel strongly about giving space to and amplifying the voice of those in marginalized communities and I am always eager to learn more.
