You play out unhealthy behaviors in your relationships knowing where they stem from but somehow can't seem to break the patterns. You would like someone to help you sort through it all, understand these patterns more deeply and help you make real progress.
My Background and Approach
My style is warm and curious, compassionate and direct. I have been described as passionate, caring, open and real. In my work with individuals, I ask questions, provide insights and reflections, offer ideas, and sometimes I simply witness. I help you understand how past experiences have shaped who you are. We practice tools together in session to help you navigate your life outside of session. We will discover your strengths, hone your intuition, and help you connect to your agency so you can approach life and relationships feeling more confident, empowered and intentional. In my work with couples, I facilitate communication & help each partner understand the other as well as feel understood. Together, we look at your dynamics from an observer's perspective and pinpoint places where you tend to get stuck. We will explore your strengths and challenges as a couple and practice new ways of communicating. My hope is to provide emotional support & practical tools to help you reconnect.
