About My Clients
I have experience working with diverse populations and backgrounds ranging from adolescent to adults. I have worked with a variety of presenting concerns including drug addiction, anger management, social skills, grief counseling, anxiety, and self-esteem. In addition to making rapport building the foundation of a therapeutic relationship, I am passionate about normalizing mental health within all cultures and backgrounds to ensure every client has the opportunity to receive the help needed.
My Background and Approach
I earned both my Bachelor and Master's degrees in Social Work at Barry University, through a trauma-informed lens. I use an eclectic mix of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy and Motivational interviewing. My therapeutic approach is designed to meet each client where they are and the needs and concerns they may bring.
