The initial part of the counseling relationship will consist in getting to know each other and building the therapeutic relationship. It may be somewhat uncomfortable to initial share details of your life with someone you are just getting to know but I hope to be able to create a safe space that welcomes honesty and a safe space. As we continue working together, we will identify different goals and determine the path therapy will take.
I will incorporate different techniques and tools that will support your journey through counseling and the goal is to incorporate those tools in your day to day living.
