My Background and Approach
Natalie specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy. She works especially with children, adolescents, and adults who struggle with depression, anxiety, trauma, and behavioral problems. Natalie is experienced in working with children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Disruptive Behavior Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorders, helping them to succeed at home, in social relationships, and in educational settings. Natalie specializes in helping children and adults with depressive and anxiety disorders, including social anxiety, insomnia, panic disorder, OCD, relational difficulties. and managing and finding growth in life transitions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Natalie Anderson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Board-Certified Clinical Art Therapist. She is a Diplomate of the Academy of Cognitive Therapy and has specialized training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Applied Behavioral Analysis for Autism Spectrum. Natalie has worked extensively with children and families and has worked as a clinical supervisor. She has taught at the university level and is an honorary lifetime member and former president of the Southern California Art Therapy Association.
