About My Clients
The most important relationship you'll ever have in your life, is the one with yourself. Whether you're seeking help for relationship issues, anxiety, perfectionism, or traumatic stress symptoms, care is individualized to meet the unique needs of the person. In sessions, I will work alongside you to assess your current circumstances, identify how your life is impacted by stuck patterns and trauma, and develop a plan based on where you’re at and where you want to be.
My Background and Approach
I strive to create a safe and supportive environment where clients will feel comfortable opening up to new and different ways of seeing themselves, their stories and their potential for growth and change. I work to facilitate change without giving directives; helping clients to recognize their own resilience and integrate healthy coping skills. I like to work from a person-centered, strengths-based perspective, using body-based skills to help resolve stress/trauma symptoms in the nervous system.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are all born with inherent worth, but living in a world that bends our will to it's dysfunction can condition us to believe something is wrong with us. While many external factors are out of our control, we can lose sight of what is in our control. My hope for my clients is to reconnect to their felt sense of inherent worth, opening opportunity for thriving in daily life.
