About My Clients
I specialize in working with clients with complex trauma, complex bereavement, bereavement issues, grief, trauma (abuse/neglect), communication problems, mood disorder, anxiety, adjustment issues, relationship issues, military issues, severe mental illness, intimate partner violence, child and adolescent issues, divorce/separation issues, eating disorders, marital issues. Together we will work on identifying hopes, dreams, goals, and difficulties that brought an individual into treatment.
My Background and Approach
My clients describe me as caring, empathic, people person, passionate about my work, eager, authentic, honest, motivated to help my client, fair, creative, and supportive. I have been a licensed professional counselor since 2006. In 2018, I graduated with my doctoral degree in clinical psychology. I took the leap in 2020 to start my postdoctoral fellowship with Dr. Blythe TwoSisters. I am ready to be a fully licensed psychologist.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a therapist because I am passionate about self-discovery, exploration, and healing. If I think of the darkest moments in my life and of those around me, I know how powerful it can be to have someone there supporting and encouraging you to be your best and most authentic self.
