About My Clients

Are you ready to move forward from the things keeping you from living the life you want? Maybe it's a struggle with anxiety or panic, difficulty moving on from conflict in family or romantic relationships, or fear of making necessary changes that prevent you from living your best life. Whatever struggle you're ready to overcome, I'm here to help you navigate it.

My Background and Approach

I'm a firm believer that, as proven by many studies, the biggest predictor of success in therapy is the therapeutic relationship. Interventions and approaches are important, but the rapport and trust you feel with your therapist is a huge contributor to reaching your goals in therapy. My biggest focus is a trusting and effective therapist/client relationship so that the work we do together is optimally effective. In addition to the therapeutic relationship, my practice is process oriented. I believe in giving you the safe space and support you need to process your experiences. Through processing, you can begin to gain deeper understanding and insight. This processing helps us determine what the most helpful interventions will be to build the skills and make the changes that will be most helpful to you.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in meeting people where they are. You might be struggling to feel ready to change your unhelpful thoughts, and that's ok! We can work together to help you get to the place you want to be. I understand the reluctance to make imperative changes. I've been there myself. The areas in which I specialize (family conflict, anxiety, and panic) are also areas I have personal experience. My personal beliefs are integral drivers in my therapy practice. I believe equality, mutual respect, trust, kindness to self and others, and honest communication are key factors in cultivating healthy relationships and fulfilling lives. Often it's our struggle with achieving and maintaining these concepts that leave us feeling lost and hurt in our closest relationships, or unable to articulate what we need to overcome the obstacles in front of us. If you want to know more or schedule a quick (free) chat to see if we're a good fit for one another, send me a message and we'll make it happen. :)
