About My Clients
Have you been feeling unmotivated about life? Are you stressed to the degree you cannot keep your thoughts organized? In finding the improved version of yourself, we will explore contributors to depressed/anxious mood, anger, stress, grief, substance/alcohol abuse, life transition, bariatric concerns (pre/post/no operation), aging and trauma. My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach is largely dependent upon the challenges you may be presented with. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Strength's Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Mindfulness, Solution Focused Therapy and Rational Emotive Therapy to help my clients overcome the challenges faced. I provide homework to give you the opportunity to practice strategies discussed in session so we may talk through the challenges of implementing new tools. Together, we can discuss the barriers that are preventing you from living the life you desire. I have dedicated a majority of my profession to working with clients to go from the passenger seat to the driver's seat to conquer their presenting challenges once and for all. Collaboratively, we will identify tools you can use to help you through your current challenges and the days to come.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my spare time, I also work with clients who want to improve their physical health. Through coaching, I can support my clients on working to improve their physical health in addition to their mental health. I have a passion for fitness due to personally overcoming obesity and enjoy helping others meet their fitness goals.
