About My Clients
People that I have found work best with me are those who are seeking to better understand themselves. "Why am I feeling this way, why am I struggling, who am I, I wish..." These are some of the questions that people who come to me often have. I have special interest in working with Veterans, LGBT expansive individuals, as children who have lived experiences as members of the LGBT or questioning community.
My Background and Approach
I have worked with a wide range of people both in community mental health settings, as well as active duty military over the past 10 years. I have helped individuals who felt they did not belong in their community come to a better understanding of themselves and make decisions about who they want to be. By utilizing a person-centered approach we can discover together how to help you be your most authentic self.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I truly ascribe to the Rogerian approaches of unconditional positive regard for all who work with me, being genuine in my own work, and demonstrating empathy for all who come to me for help. In my own personal experinces I am a Veteran with deployment experience to Afghanistan, a member of the LGBT Community, and a PROUD fan of the Buffalo Bills! I live in the Greater Boston region with my partner, 2 cats and a Cocker Spaniel.
