About My Clients
Taking the first step to seek support can be scary or even risky, especially if you are a part of a culture that might not be familiar or accepting of mental health. I provide mental health therapy to individuals, couples, and families. Together, we can make meaning out of your experience and explore the problems that weigh you down.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is through a narrative lens. Whether you are having an existential experience, having conflicts that you thought were resolved but somehow keeps showing up, or is feeling the sadness that awaits every time you look at the news, I will hold space for your story to be heard.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
In my experience working with young adults that are POC and AAPIs who prefer to honor their cultural heritage in a western world, I have heard many stories about the barriers, shame, and deep sadness it can bring. Throughout our conversations, I am interested in asking you about the meaning that has shaped your experience. We can re-tell the stories that you have lived to create your preferred way of showing up in the world. For living. And for being a part of the community.
