My Background and Approach
My philosophy of true mental health is the ability to tolerate the duality of positive and negative experiences in life while maintaining an authentic connection to the self and others. I integrate psychodynamic, relational, intersubjective and transpersonal orientations with intersectional feminism and abolitionist social justice. I find working within and among these philosophies we gain a fuller picture of your experiences how to reach therapeutic goals and a general sense of well-being. I provide a safe environment working collaboratively with clients in order to tolerate and receive the compassionate honesty and gentle confronting which are the keys to this transformative work. If you are willing and ready to confront your light and shadow, I welcome you to move inward, together.
