My counseling experience spans more than 10 years; but, real life-- and my fair share of mishaps--have equally added to my ability to establish meaningful connections, and help people through difficult times. After graduating from college with a degree in Business Management, and teaching English in Buenos Aires, Argentina - I worked as a Mental Health Specialist for one of the largest behavioral health providers in Memphis, TN. My experience continued at an outpatient mental health organization, where I provided individual and group therapy services for adults dealing with substance use. Here, I saw first-hand the life-changing benefits of counseling, and discovered my gift of connecting with people in a way that was authentic and nonjudgmental. After completing my Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Texas, Arlington – I moved to Houston, TX, where I work full-time as a therapist, while completing my Ph.D. at the University of Houston.
