About My Clients
I would love to work with you on whatever you need or want to bring into therapy. We all have unique ways of seeing the world and I'd love to learn about yours. I think it's important to pay attention to the intersectionality of race, culture, religion, gender, sexuality, size, etc in therapy, as it is can give us valuable information in locating ourselves in our world and in our relationships.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic work is informed by a psychodynamic relational approach as well as attachment theory and expressive arts. In our therapeutic work we will explore the present issues and coping mechanisms with curiosity about the ways they harm or protect you, and the ways they are potentially keeping you from leading a life in line with your values. My desire is to collaboratively increase awareness around patterns and narratives. I believe this leads to more opportunity to make choices for ourselves rather than continue in our default and often unconscious cycles.
