My Background and Approach
I have experience working with adolescents and adults, providing a variety of counseling services in group and individual settings. I place a strong emphasis on the therapeutic-alliance to create a supportive and caring environment for growth and change. My non-judgmental, strength-based approach will help us work together to achieve the life you want. I enjoy working with people from all different backgrounds and paths. I find working with young-adults and members of the LGBTQ+ community especially rewarding. I welcome the opportunity to support you as you unwrap your pain, rewrite old stories, and heal wounds to become the best version of yourself. Counseling can offer you a safe space to explore your story and find your own way forward. Trained in DBT and Person Centered Therapy. I also use CBT, Existential, and Strengths-Based approaches with adults and adolescents 15-65+. Telehealth Only Licensed in Minnesota, Washington, South Dakota, Iowa.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that black lives matter. I believe in equal rights to marriage and health care access. I believe in trans rights and protections. I believe health care options and treatments are a matter for an individual and their trusted providers to determine. I believe that relationships with yourself, others, and organizations come in all different varieties. I believe that most people are trying to do the best they can, with what they have. I believe that collaborative tools and genuine support can help.
