My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that, whether we believe we are strong or that we aren't strong enough, we are all need someone to walk with us during difficult times in our lives. I believe that we're all on a journey of healing from the wounds from those around us, our life circumstances, as well as those we've given to others. We are all on a journey of self discovery to learn where we're from, who we are, what we believe, and who we want to be. Through my own experiences, I've come to believe we move forward in our journey by connecting with others who can help us explore within ourselves and help us process the world around us. I am a Black, straight, cisgender male who is continually working to be an ally to and a co-conspirator with those who have different identities than me. I grew up in the Catholic, Pentecostal, and Evangelical movements, although my perspective on faith and spirituality is not bound by one faith. I love science fiction, board games, photography, live music, and traveling.
