My Background and Approach
I have been a Licensed Alcohol & Drug Counselor for over a decade and have worked as a Professional Addiction Counselor at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation in St. Paul Minnesota and the Betty Ford Center. I furthered my education by obtaining a certificate in Gestalt Therapy, Accelerated Resolution Therapy, and a diploma as a Master Herbalist. I specialize in working with children, teens, and adults. I offer individual, family, and child-parent therapy. As a trauma-focused co-occurring psychotherapist I view therapy as a trusting relationship that can foster support along a person’s journey of finding transformational healing. I have a passion to support children and teens through life experiences that can be overwhelming and challenging to navigate in order to lower the long-term impact it can have on their lives. I have the same amount of passion for supporting adults in healing from childhood trauma and complex trauma.
