About My Clients
I work with LGBTQIA+, neurodivergent, and disabled/chronically ill individuals who want support. Collaboratively we explore their identities, the systems that harm or benefit those identities, their values, history, goals, and support needs. I know all too well that anxiety, depression, and trauma related experiences can all be associated in these groups. Part of my practice is working together to decide how to address any mental health challenges you may encounter.
My Background and Approach
My therapeutic approach pulls from ACT, narrative therapy, mindfulness, and somatic approaches, and I have a special interest in the ways that our nervous systems and bodies as a whole impact our experiences of mental health and wellness. I have experience working in community mental health, crisis, disability services, and school settings with adolescents and young adults. My goal is to collaborate with you to move through the world with more self-compassion and community care.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am trans/non-binary, and neurodivergent which influences the way I practice and live. I live and work with a health at every size framework, and am active in the disabled community as an advocate and member.
